Prototypes & Mock-Ups

Prototypes are an aid to creative decision-making. A very important step in our production process to validate choices.

Many of our projects are unique in their design, and we regularly test creative ideas: choice of printing technique on specific substrates, folding systems, gluing, binding, embossing tests, marking, etc.

When necessary, we test with the final production tools, which secures upstream the final choices. We create validation prototypes for all our clients, luxury houses and galleries. We also carry out printing tests to validate the rendering of the custom printing processes we have developed.

Printmodel practices constant R&D on color management processes between images and their printed destinations. Since 2008, we have been constantly innovating to improve the print quality of the various technologies we offer.

We choose the best inks, with the purest pigments, to reproduce more shades, according to our printing systems and methodologies.

We constantly capitalize on our experience as expert practitioners to offer you the best of our developments.

All this research is applied to real productions. This makes us the only workshop in France capable of considering this colorimetric customization to achieve printed excellence.

We have at our disposal a dream machine park, from the small format 32 x 45 cm, from one to seven colors, through the format 74 x 105 cm from 1 to 10 colors, up to the XXL printing format 120 x 160 cm, and the different printmodel processes allow you to distinguish yourself with a richness of colors increased up to 37%. Our extremely fine screens, NP screen, random or stochastic, position us as one of the leaders in the random screen printing market, which represents 98% of our production.

Optimization of visuals for printing : very fine management of colorimetry to restore the most delicate colors. ICC modeling system according to the final supports and adjustment of the images in the color spaces of destination.

Specific processing for black and white, two-color, three-color, four-color, multi-color and pure black with épreuvage of control which simulates perfectly the destination, the color and the typology of the support.

Finishing - Embellishment - Binding

The requirements of the projects we produce have led us for years to experiment with all forms of finishing in bookbinding (traditional, Bodonian, Swiss, Japanese...), binding (open back, square back, integra, stitching, hot glue, cold glue, vinyl glue, PUR...), folding, cutting, laminating, and the production of containers, cases, envelopes.

We practice multiple forms of embellishments such as printing on canvas, marking on the cover or on the back, folding, embossing, sewing systems. Industrial, semi-industrial or artisanal solutions. Multiple formats. For single, hundreds or thousands of copies.

Logistic

We handle many multilingual projects, with precise distribution to the exact copy, identification by destination, all kinds of packaging, palletization, both domestically and for export or directly on site in Asia, Europe and the USA. We can manage your truck, boat, airplane traffic and exports until delivery to the recipient. We also have two logistic platforms for all unit shipments in Europe and the USA.

Book publishing

With our publishing house Hemeria, we accompany luxury brands and photographers for the publishing and distribution of their books in bookstores and concept stores in Europe, the United States, Australia and Canada.
We organize exhibitions and events around books.
We manage press promotion, print, TV and web media.

Frédéric Dahan – Cofounder

In charge of sales development for printmodel.
Based between Paris and Oslo.

He chose publishing to express his passion and his constant quest for beauty, the driving force behind his choices and actions. Interested in the human adventure, listening to needs, open to solutions, he masters 5 languages and accompanies our development beyond our borders.
Follows the printing proofs.

Alain Touminet – Cofounder

Passionate about technology and images, he studied at the École Supérieure Estienne des Arts et Industries Graphiques. He specializes in typography and book production processes.

After working at the Société de Création Graphique on this subject, he joined a Japanese company, Dainippon Screen, specialized in image retouching and acquisition systems. He learns from the greatest professionals how to retranscribe the most complex images for printing.

Frédérique Cadoret

Production manager, in charge of the coordination of the production studio, acts between the technical and the commercial.

Extremely meticulous with a great experience in production.
Frédérique leaves nothing to chance and brings her very sure taste to all our productions.
